The spokesman for the White House will be the representative of Melania Trump
A spokeswoman for US First Lady Stephanie Grisham has been appointed press secretary for the White House. This was stated on Tuesday by the spouse of US President Melania Trump.
«I am pleased to announce that Stephanie Grisham will be the next representative of the White House and director of public relations,» she wrote on Twitter.
“She has been with us since September 2015, I can’t imagine a better challenger who will work for the US administration and our country,” said Donald Trump’s spouse.
Grisham takes up the new duties from July 1.
The current White House press secretary, Sarah Sanders, will leave office at the end of June. As previously reported, she will return to Arkansas, where, according to some sources, intends to take part in the election of the governor.
Sanders held this position since 2017, replacing her predecessor Sean Spicer.
